The UFiber Instant (UF-Instant) is a high-performance GPON ONU housed in a compact SFP form factor, designed to convert any SFP-enabled device into a powerful fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) gateway. Constructed from durable zinc alloy and stainless steel, it plugs directly into an SFP port to deliver 2.488 Gbps downstream and 1.244 Gbps upstream line rates over a 20 km physical reach. This carrier-grade transceiver utilizes an SC/APC WAN interface and operates at TX 1310 nm / RX 1490 nm wavelengths, drawing a maximum of only 2W for ultra-efficient performance.
